Slim Goodbody Bodyology Event Date: 2/25/2010Check-in Time: 9:45 AM Start Time: 10:00 AM Event Length: 1 Hour Cost: $6.50 - Pre-payment Required. Contact: Elizabeth Lin - elin@ooglesngoogles.com Deadline: 2/10/2010 - Pre-registration Required. Age/Grade Restriction: Minimum age K through 4 years old. Description: Slim will be presenting Bodyology, a show for children in grades K-4. Correlated to state health education standards, Bodyology uses music, movement, fanciful props, and a large rear screen projection unit to lead youngsters on an incredible journey within. It provides an opportunity for audiences to understand how their bodies work, and inspires them to be the best they can be. Although geared for the elementary grades, it is appropriate for up to age 12. More information can be found online at www.slimgoodbody.com. Please send a check made out to CHB with an event registration form to Elizabeth Lin, 3092 Polo Club Blvd, Lexington, KY 40509. Details/Notes: During weekdays, visitor parking is available at Parking Structure 5, which can be accessed from Limestone Street next to Kennedy's Bookstore. There is a small fee based on the length of time you will be visiting campus. Other parking is available at meters in various lots around campus. You may also contact the Singulary Box Office at 257-1706 or 257-4929 for parking suggestions. Directions: Singulatary Center is located at the corner of Rose Street and Euclid Avenue across from Memorial Colliseum. Please allow extra time for parking as UK classes will be in session at that time. |
