About Learning Zone:

Welcome to the Learning Zone information page.  LZ is a ministry provided 
to the CHB membership. You must be a current member of CHB and home-
schooling full time in order to participate in LZ. 

Learning Zone meets on Thursdays for three hours and each semester is 12 
weeks long. Children in Kindergarten through 8th grade are invited to 
attend. 

There have been several changes to Learning Zone for the 09/10 year, 
most significant is the CHB Board decided to go to a true co-op model for 
this year.  We are not paying the teachers this year, but everyone is 
contributing their time each week.  It has not been decided if this 
will be a permanent decision for Learning Zone.
 

We do have openings for children in all age groups right now.  
Depending on the response we may be able to add another elementary class 
as well.  The cost for Learning Zone will be the $25 registration fee, plus 
supply fees for teachers.  If you have questions, please contact Tiffany King

    Dates:     Registration is now open
               Classes begin January 8, 2010
               Last class:  March 25, 2010
